The Compressor King: Robert Pulz retires calls it a day and takes a well-deserved leap into retirement.

Nurturing a business that he built over the past 25 years into one of Australia’s most reputable and specialised vehicle-mounted equipment suppliers is no small feat. It has taken perseverance, loads of dedication and calculated risks to create sustainability but also engineering products specifically suited to the marketplace. “you’re never going to get anywhere in this world if you don’t take a risk” Robert Pulz CEO magazine.

Over time “Pulzy” designed, imported, and diversified vehicle integrated equipment to the benefit of the Australian market. Bringing Australian engineered and designed CAFS into the spotlight and supporting locally sourced skills & components to re-imagine the needs of Australian & International fire suppression vehicle. He also played a big part in offering the mobile service vehicle industry the most impressive and functional design equipment solutions for their mobile fleet. More recently, Rob has designed and manufactured his Smartweld 500 & Maxweld 1000 welder generator air compressors which are changing the heavy mobile fabrication & repair industry around this beautiful country. Focusing on operational compliance, safety, and functionality in design. But what Rob is most known for is bringing the SMAC to the market and setting the bar in mobile compressed air. These just name a few of his career milestones…

So, after all these years, Rob has finally handed over the reins of the company to his loyal staff and leadership role to Luke Jenkins – General Manager. Now he can enjoy some of life’s simple luxuries allowing him to work on his cars and play a round or two of golf. Well done Chief, without your guidance, mentorship, and relentless drive for the dream – Mobile Energy Australia would not exist.

From all of the MEA family… Thanks, Boss for giving us a company to be proud of and an opportunity for us all to grow.
